Hi there! I'm Charlie, a sweet and playful young pup currently weighing in at 38 pounds. I was surrendered to the shelter earlier this year, and I've been working hard to come out of my shell. Living in a caring foster home has helped a lot! I'm a bit of a nervous boy, but I've been improving with lots of patience and socialization so far. And once I warm up, I'm as goofy, playful, and affectionate as anyone could want! My foster parent tells me that I'm doing well with crate training and potty training so far too. Playing (or lazing around) in the sun outside is a favorite activity of mine, as is napping in my bed or on the couch. I also do very well with other dogs, and I would benefit from an older dog companion to tag along with. I'm still waiting for my forever family to help me gain more confidence and brave the world together. Could that be you?
