TPD Arrests Barricaded Suspect on Pichard Drive

The Tallahassee Police Department responded to the 1100 block of Pichard Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance investigation. The victim reported the male suspect, Laddaris Small, battered them and made past statements threatening to shoot them. During the investigation, it was learned that Small had active arrest warrants out of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Thomasville, Georgia for Violation of Probation related to Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
At approximately 10 a.m., officers made contact with Small at the front door of the residence. As officers attempted to detain him, he resisted and fled into the house. He quickly barricaded himself inside. Members of TPD's Tactical Apprehension and Control Team were called to the scene to assist. At approximately 11:41 a.m., Small exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to LCDF.
Arrestee: Laddaris Small, 32 years of age
Charges: (Two Warrants) Violation of Probation, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm By a Convicted Felon, Resisting Without Violence
